SCARECROWS GATHER
This year’s theme is a Traditional Scarecrow. Register at Sidbury Parish Room from 10 am until 12 noon or pre-entry available with forms to be found in the Telephone Box. Anyone is welcome to enter just find a spot around the Village for your Scarecrow. Prizes to be won!

CLAY SHOOT FOR ALL ABILITIES
11am – 4pm At White Cross, East Hill, Sidbury Get your eye in for the upcoming game season. Trophy for high gun and best local. You will require your own shotgun to take part. Fibre wad only max shot size 7.5 max load 28gram

FUN RUN & WALK
Register in the Village Hall from 10.30am for 11.30am start or pre-entry available with forms at the Red Lion Inn or Drews. Entry fee £5 adult, £3 children (7 to 17 years) Under 7s go free. A Short walking route for all abilities, pushchair friendly. A Long route, walking or running. A challenging run for youngsters, teens and adults. Start line and finishing line at the Parish Room. BBQ & Prize Giving afterwards (approx. 12.30 pm) at the ‘Weir Field’ Parking at the bottom of Sidbury Manor drive - follow the P signs! As always please bring suitable footwear for running/walking

At 12 noon followed by HOT PENNIES Hot (warm!) pennies collected at The Red Lion, Sidbury School and Drews are thrown over the churchyard wall into Church Street for Sidbury School children to collect.

In St Giles Church (open daily until the end of Fair week) This year’s main exhibition looks at ‘Sidbury at work - the last 200 years’. Photographs and other archives of villagers at work and the way their jobs have changed over two centuries. If you have any relevant photographs please contact Neil on 01395597324 or bring them along so that copies can be made and originals promptly returned. Many thanks.
CHILDREN’S PICTURE COMPETITION
On display in the village hall this year’s theme is ‘looking through the garden gate’ (inspired by the late Barbara Softly's book ‘Tapping at the Garden Gate’. Open to all children in the Parish. Pictures can be handed in at Sidbury School during the first week of term. The Hall will be open daily for viewing.
